When life gets busy, thinking time is often the first thing to disappear. But without space to step back, we can easily end up moving through life without checking whether we’re actually headed in the right direction.

In this episode, I’m talking about the power of taking an entire day to think, plan, and solve problems with intention. I share how this practice became part of my own life, how it evolved into strategy days with clients, and why dedicated time and a thought partner can help you find clarity, perspective, and momentum.

If you’ve been feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure what to do next, this episode will help you see the value of creating space to think before you act.

Show Highlights Include:

  • Why thinking time matters. 02:00

  • The inspiration behind thinking days. 04:00

All right. Welcome back to The Brilliant Balance Show. We’re going to talk today about thinking, which is maybe a little bit of an esoteric idea, but I’m going somewhere really practical with this. And so I want to ground us in the idea of thinking today. This is the place, after all, where we talk about

what it actually takes to live a life that’s full and fulfilling. And I think that somewhere in the middle of that, to create a life that is both and, full and fulfilling, we need a little time to think. And it’s something that I think at a certain…

in a certain season of life, we don’t get enough of it. Right? I feel like it’s at the true peak of complexity when kids need a lot and work needs a lot and your house needs a lot.

Sometimes you’re like, I just have no time to think. And my point of view is it is imperative that we carve out and create that time and that space to think or we’re going to end up in a situation where we’re going through the motions of life. and never really making sure that we’re steering in the right direction. So I want to ask you, and I want you to answer this honestly for yourself.

Don’t just like skim past it, right? When is the last time you actually took a day to think? Not like… an hour or 15 minutes in the car.

When’s the last time you took a day and said the explicit purpose of this day. is to think. about what I want. about where I’m going.

about what’s going well in my life, what’s not, or maybe to learn about something that you’re curious about like, when is the last time? Okay, and I bet it’s been a minute.

All right, I bet it’s been a while. I’m not talking about a vacation day here. This isn’t like when’s the last time you took a day off. Because I know what we do with those, right? We take a day off and we’re like checking email in between activities and we’re cleaning out the garage and getting to some project that we haven’t gotten to. I’m talking about a day where you put yourself in an environment.

where there’s enough stimulus removed that you can actually think. and you don’t apologize for it, and you don’t feel guilty about it. It’s like that is the purpose. Most of the women that I work with, the honest answer to that question is either I can’t remember when is the last time I did that or I know the answer and it’s never.

but like I’ve never actually given myself a day where that is the purpose. um And that’s what I want to talk about in today’s episode. Right. When did you last take a day to think? And then what is the power of actually doing that? I want to tell you where this idea came from for me, like where I first, this is not my own original idea. Where did I hear about it? What I’ve seen happen.

when people actually do it, like what is the benefit? And then toward the end, I’m going to tell you about a way. to have that exact experience with me. in person.

before the end of this year. how you can have a thinking day with thought partnership. before the end of this year. Okay. so years ago. I don’t know how long ago. I mean, I was an adult for sure, but I don’t know how many years ago. I read about Bill Gates and his thick weeks.

Right? He knows. famously. um I think this is in the documentary about him, actually. I don’t think that’s where I heard about it the first time, but I know I’ve… seen it now, with visuals where he goes to a lake house or a cabin or someplace that he owns. And takes like a stack of books. I think it’s actually like an L.L. Bean boat and tote, you know, full of books. um and papers and, you know, no distractions.

It’s just a time for him to think expansively. And if you think about somebody like Bill Gates, love him or hate him. Creativity. That somebody. in his position has to have access to, to sort of be on the leading edge of what’s the next thing.

right? There’s kind of this inventor energy around somebody like Bill Gates. He came up with, and if you don’t know Bill Gates’ kind of backstory, he’s the founder of Microsoft, one of the two co-founders of Microsoft. And so he really brought personal computing to the world.

You don’t do that. without having time to think, right? You have to have a practice of being able to sort of be in your head and connect to the dots. And I think. A lot of us have lives that require creativity.

innovation, reinvention on the regular. But we don’t see ourselves as inventors or creative. And so we think, well, why would I need that? So Bill Gates might be facing the biggest questions for humanity. Right? He’s kind of famously focused on how to end malaria. around the world. um How do you bring personal computing to the world? These are not small questions. There’s a lot of dots that have to connect.

But you have your own. things that you’re trying to solve for. And I remember thinking when I first heard about Bill’s version of this that it sounded luxurious to me. you know, like to be.

It wasn’t that the cabin was luxurious or the lake house, although I’m sure it was. It was the permission. The idea of thinking. Just thinking could be an agenda for a whole day.

Right. So where I diverge from Bill Gates is I’m pretty extroverted. In some ways, I think I’m one of those people that’s like. either an introverted extrovert or an extroverted introvert. And what I mean is I really need time alone.

to recharge, but when I am processing something, I do it best verbally. So… um you might recognize this pattern in yourself or you might be like, that’s not how it works for me. For me, I…

think best when I’m talking out loud. It’s actually one of the reasons I love podcasting is sometimes ideas just… finish themselves for me, like in midair. And I remember years ago when I did the StrengthsFinders assessment. learning that communication was in one of my top five strengths.

we have to just write a little paragraph about your strengths. And I remember saying, if I’m not talking, I’m probably not thinking. Like they’re that correlated for me that I almost like to think out loud. So my best thinking never happens in isolation. It happens out loud with somebody across the table who can push back.

who can ask the question that I wouldn’t have asked myself. Or even just say, wait, say more about that. like there’s something there. Right? So getting away from the noise of daily life is appealing to me because I can have a lot of distractions in my daily life. But getting away from the noise with a thought partner is intoxicating.

Right? Totally intoxicating. so I’ve done this for myself. a host of times. I have put myself in an environment where you know, sometimes I think of it as like a war room. Sometimes I think of it as a…

a creative space. Sometimes I think of it as just like I need a bunch of whiteboards around me but the ability to get into a space. with one, ideally one, sometimes more than one other person to just… hash something out that I’ve been thinking about.

is a practice that I put into my life. Probably somewhere around 2015-ish, that’s probably when it really came into my consciousness of like, I’m going to do this. So I’ve probably been doing this for about 10 years.

And I found it to be so powerful for myself, like big ideas kind of. formulated, crystallized, decisions got made. that I started building it into. my business.

and offering to the clients that I was working with the most closely the opportunity to have ah a day. We called it a VIP day at the time. That was like where this concept started. and I built it into this offer for a group of entrepreneurs that I was working with at a time at that time. and in their year-long… experience of all the things that we were doing, and they were all business owners, we built this one-on-one strategy day.

And of everything we did, it was the most powerful, popular, exciting idea. Because I think I didn’t have to explain it. Like they just immediately sparked to the idea of, oh my God, it would be so valuable to step out of the noise of my daily life. All of the people tugging at me in the business.

And then all of the people tugging at me at home, right? That rhythm and routine that we’re in, like the drumbeat of our lives, which we love. We love as a baseline.

But it’s really hard to think in the midst of that kind of noise, right? And they’re like, if I could get out of that for a day, that would be magical. So we built it in. right to the offering that I had for them the very first one happened in

like a coworking space that I rented. in Cincinnati. This was before I had office space. So, little sidebar, Brilliant Balance has gone through some evolutions of how I physically manage the business. I was like me in my kitchen when I first started a million years ago.

And then we got our first actual office space in 2018 and had that until 2021. And post-COVID.

I realized I really wanted to build a team that was not all co-located in Cincinnati. and so we closed the office because I moved everybody. back to their homes because.

My team is not based in Cincinnati, right? They’re kind of based all over the place. Just a sidebar on that: we started that first thinking session in 2016 in a rented co-working space.

which ironically is what I would do now. All right, kind of full circle. And I remember being just blown away by what happened in that room. Because the first one. um The- the I don’t remember if this is the very first one, but the one that I, it was early days, right? And what I remember about it is like, she showed up with a plan. Like, these are

This was a list of issues that I want to get into. And like she had done her homework. She had figured out what were the biggest challenges facing the business and also had looked at.

How did those challenges dovetail into what was going on in her personal life? So she had two kids at home and a spouse who worked. And she worked and was moving into business ownership. So this was like part of her participation in this program was that she was. in business ownership now.

And there was so much complexity to her life that again, the ability to find time to think was rare. And so we sat down in this office and, you know, got a coffee and got settled in like a little conference room with whiteboards on all the walls.

And both of us had laptops and. The small talk did not last long. I will tell you that. Like, you know, we do a little bit of a catch up and tell me how everybody’s doing. And immediately it’s like.

you start firing on a different, like firing on all cylinders. You’re just kind of operating at a different pace. And we both leaned in And I swear that first day, like we probably looked up six or seven hours later and we were like, uh-oh, you know, we forgot to eat lunch. We got on such a roll and got so high about making these decisions. that we weren’t necessarily very good to ourselves. So, in later

experiences with clients, I learned, okay, I’ve got to like. force a break at lunchtime, force a little walk break during the day. And also I need to move that warm up to a different place.

a different thing so that we can really hit it hard in the morning. So over the years. So that was probably 2016 when I did the very first one. And over the years of continuing to do these for people in various ways and as parts of various programs, I think we’ve really refined the model. Right? What I learned is there are. problems that get solved in that kind of a container.

that can’t be solved well in an hour, right? If I’m doing a private coaching session with somebody for an hour. We just can’t get into enough of it. We can’t let it breathe in an hour. And even if you chop it up and say, okay, we’re going to do an hour every two weeks or an hour every month, there’s something about having the sustained effort against the same collection of problems that’s really helpful. Um,

And also a lot of the work that I do involves group coaching and you cannot do this kind of thing in group coaching. Right? Group coaching is really well designed to bring a topic. Let’s workshop what’s going on and let’s get you moving again. But sometimes it’s well served to crowdsource ideas. But you really need to like.

more time to roll up your sleeves and think about this. And then, of course, it goes beyond just thinking. It goes into like… activating. So I’ve thought about this now and I’ve kind of seen the issue from all sides. And I’ve gotten a little bit of clarity about what I actually need to do differently. Now we have the space to build a plan for that.

So inside of that same container of a full day, we were able to really dig into and kind of pull the problem apart from all angles and say, what is really going on here? By the way, the thing that is often misdiagnosed is without thought of partnership. We think we know the problem, but we’re like up three levels and we need to get to that root cause of what is. really going on here? What is really driving this issue?

And then we need to look at, all right, what we want it to be like and start building the path from here to there. And that is where the creativity starts to get unlocked. You know, I’m standing up at a whiteboard, they’re grabbing the pen and we’re sort of figuring this out together. And then at this point, documents start to come into play. It’s like, all right, let’s build, let’s put that in a spreadsheet and run that, run the numbers on it. Or let’s put that into.

um a Canva deck and see something visually. Right? The ability to use the tools that are at our disposal starts to add color to bring this new solution to life. So having whiteboards and coffee breaks and the chance to like walk around the block and build those spreadsheets. Like that is all part of the process. And so by the end of the day, there’s real output. Right? It’s not just, okay. I mean I think people feel oddly refreshed even though it’s been kind of an intense day because we did shut down all the noise from the other things going on in life and we got to kind of like go into this tunnel, like very focused space together and come out with real output.

And that is just, it’s so powerful to have that. I love getting to be on. both sides of that table. I have done this where I am the person with the issue and I’m working with someone else and we’re kind of figuring this out together, building a plan. And it’s so exciting to watch it. you know, start to take shape. I always describe it. like… If you think about doing a jigsaw puzzle, like a big jigsaw puzzle. And you dump those.

pieces out at the beginning, and it’s like, oh This is overwhelming and I don’t even want to start because… Ugh, right? But then you sort the pieces. The edges get sorted from the middle. Everything gets turned over.

And once you have that edge built, which is kind of the analogy to the early part of the thinking day, Like you’ve got a framework, you know where you’re going, and you start to get some of the centerpieces connected, you pick up speed.

And that’s a little bit what it feels like these days. It’s like, okay, let’s do the hard part together. Let’s get the frame built. And then let’s see if we can pick up some speed. Because when that momentum kicks in and you get excited about… the direction, the decisions you’re making, like what you’re going to do next. It’s so cool.

So I have done these with people across a variety of topics, right? I’ve done it with people who really had never looked at their financials well, like, if it’s an entrepreneur who maybe didn’t have classical business training and they just have never been deep in the financials of their business, we’ll spend a day kind of…

in their financials, just until they really understand how money is coming in? How is it going out? What decisions can I use that to make? And watching somebody have that epiphany for the first time is…

Amazing. you know, like I remember building out sort of like. This is what an ideal P&L would look like for you. um And here’s what yours looks like today. And how can we get from here to there? What would have to be true? And we start solving for that. We’ve done that many times. um I’ve done them with people who are staring down big decisions like, am I going to acquire this business?

Right? I have a business. I can acquire another business or another location. Do I want to do that or not? I’ve also sat with people who are looking at, should I sell this business? You know, I’ve been in this for a long time. Is it time for me to sell? What would I want to sell it for? What would the implications be? um I’ve done so much branding work because that’s my background. in marketing and at Procter & Gamble and the marketing that I’ve done within Brilliant Balance

I can’t help myself. We’re going to get into marketing conversations if I’m talking to an entrepreneur. So we’ve looked at personal branding. You know, someone will come in and we’re trying to pull out what is their personal brand? How can they bring more of themselves into

a website or a LinkedIn presence or a podcast or just their business itself. We’ve looked at branding for companies. Like what is the branding? what is a marketing approach for this business that they want to get off the ground or that they want to grow. These are big

hard to undo decisions, buying a company, selling a company, you know figuring out branding. And so it’s worth it. to invest in the day to say, I’m going to shut down the other parts of my life to really think about this. Right? It’s like strategy work is the kind of stuff that happens these days. And some of the best thinking days I’ve done with people have been about their personal lives.

Right? Which might not have been the first thing you’re thinking about today. um because this was born out of entrepreneurs. But one of the best days I ever did was somebody working on a five-year vision. for their family life.

Like, where do they want to steer? the relationships with each of their children. their marriage um their home They’re. uh

like community or philanthropic. philanthropic work. Like, what do I want this to look like? And how am I going to steer in that direction over the next number of years? And we used that one as a precursor for her to then go get her husband and her children like in the boat. Right. So we did it like. gaming out some. some ideas and getting the thinking started so that she could take it back and do time and like a family retreat.

to pull that together for their family. Like, think about how powerful that is to be. not rudderless and just reactive in how you’re steering your family. So I love the diversity of ideas that can be addressed, right? The idea underneath all of it.

is just a whole day set apart to think. to plan, to strategize, to problem solve with somebody there with you.

Right. Not a webinar. Not a course that you have to go through. just It’s really there to think out loud and to not have to do it all by yourself. And I think there are a number of things that tend to happen.

consistently, no matter what the topic is for the day. The first is clarity. Like, there just is no better way to get to clarity than to.

put a spotlight on the collection of challenges or issues or things that feel like they’re very twisted together and pull them apart until we’re clear, like I said before, on what is the root cause here of the challenges or what do you actually want or what actually needs to happen? Right. Not like the story you’ve been telling yourself um and why any of it matters. Like, I think that’s.

really critical before you’re spending money um and spending your time executing, like, does this matter? Am I kind of starting, am I solving the right problem? And am I solving my problems in the right order? Like, is the sequence right? Most people just never get quiet enough for long enough to figure that out.

And the day really helps surface that clarity. The second thing is sequencing. So, once you know what matters or what you really want to do, what comes first?

second, third, that gets messy, right? If you think about your own life, maybe the last time you were going to make some kind of change in direction, it’s very easy to take things out of sequence. We get excited about something that really is further down the road, or we get worried about something that it’s not even time to worry about yet.

So I think being able to put things in the right order is one of the powerful things about having somebody thinking with you. Also, really thinking through the return on effort.

or the return on investment in the approach that you’re about to take. So we don’t want to spend a bunch of time and energy on something that you’re excited about, but that has a really tiny return. So the order and the sequencing is so critical. There have been so many strategy days that have ended with somebody realizing like.

The thing I’ve been avoiding isn’t the hardest thing on the list. It’s like the first thing on the list. And so getting them to just like get through that part and jump over it, then they get into almost the easier part. But there’s so much avoidance at the beginning when we’re just not sure we’re going to start things in the right order. And, sorry.

The third thing I think that predictably comes out of these days is perspective. meaning outside perspective, like a level of objectivity. My role when I’m on that side of the table is I’m not in your life.

I’m not in your business. And so my ability to bring the depth of my experience to a thinking day without… being the person who’s tangled up in the emotion of it. is part of the value.

And when I’m on the other side of the table and I have somebody doing that for me, that is the value. Right? We’re often just too close to our own challenges and our own situations. So sometimes I can bring a watch out that you can’t see because you’re just too close to it. You’re in love with your idea. um Or I can bring a story of someone else who’s hit this exact wall.

um and tell you what we did with them. It’s like another set of eyes on just taking the pressure off of decisions that you have been carrying alone. Sometimes I can bring a resource or a connection that you didn’t even know you needed until we’re like three hours into the conversation and it surfaces. So you would never know to ask for it.

Because it sort of emerges organically. And I’m like, oh, you know who you need to talk to. Or, oh, you know what tool you need to look at. And then we’re sort of pulling from the depth of. you know, this decade of experience with other women solving similar problems. And that is really genuinely hard to get because it requires sitting with somebody who has actually owned a business, run a business, invested in businesses, you know, raised a family. Like you need to have somebody there who’s kind of done the thing.

That is at least some proxy for the thing that you are trying to do. Right. And I think when you have that, it’s very valuable. So here’s what this all could mean for you. Here’s what I want to offer you. Between now and the end of the year. I’m going to do a few of these days in person. with people who are podcast listeners. Traditionally, I have only done this with people that I am already working with very closely.

You have to be bold, which is my. most intimate program, or I have to be like, I have to know a lot about your story. So we’ve only done it with those people. But I’m going to open this up to a broader audience because I’ve had some people approach me to ask, can I get a day of your time? you know Do you do intensives? And this is my version of an intensive. is a thinking day. um I’m gonna do these in Cincinnati.

And I want to be clear: I’m not going to pretend this is for everyone. It is not. And I’m also not going to pretend that I can do a lot of these because I only have so many days in a year. And a day like this takes real preparation on my end. um And you’re getting my undivided attention. So I also have to clear my calendar in order to make this work. So here’s…

what I’m going to structure. Here’s what I’m going to structure. First of all, you are going to get to Cincinnati. So you’re going to book a flight into Cincinnati if you don’t live here and you’re going to get yourself from there to the hotel.

to the hotel. Once you do that, I’ve got the rest. I am going to handle a couple nights in a hotel for you. um When you arrive in the afternoon, that night, the two of us are going to go to dinner. And that dinner is where I’m going to learn what I need to learn to be really effective the next day. So we’re going to talk about your backstory, your family, your business, your work, whatever. Whether you are a business owner, which, my guess is

a number of people interested in this will be business owners or whether you are a leader in an organization. Either will work for this. um But this is a chance for me to really get underneath.

the challenges that you’re bringing, right? And to learn what is shaping. the decisions that you’re facing. So by the time we sit down the next morning, we can hit the ground running, right? Instead of spending the first two hours of the strategy day getting to know each other. So you’re going to come in.

an afternoon or an evening. We’re going to have dinner. We’re going to put you to bed in your hotel and be like, get a really good night’s sleep with no interruptions. um And then you’re going to come in in the morning to a fabulous co-working space in Cincinnati called Fueled Collective. um And I have to be honest with you, I love this space so much. It is within walking distance of an outdoor shopping area. It’s got a couple of great restaurants nearby. um

number of good coffee shops. You know, the space itself kind of feels like a gorgeous hotel lobby crossed with an upscale office building. Like, it’s just done with a really nice…

very chic, feminine touch. And there are different rooms in the space that have different looks and different moods. And so if we get stuck creatively, we can literally move rooms. and shift the energy of the conversation. We can get outside. um And there’s plenty of places we can like to take a little walk around. So that day, we’re going to be in this great space.

a full strategy day, one-on-one. I’ll bring lunch in so that we can take a break and keep working. And then that evening, we’re going to send you back to your hotel to have the night to yourself. And this is a very important part of the process because you have to be able… to soak in everything that has just happened. If you’ve ever taken a yoga class, you know at the very end of that class, they lay you down on your back and you’re in savasana.

And the purpose of that pose is to soak in everything that has just happened, to like integrate all of the energy that you’ve just gotten flowing in the class. And that’s why we send you back to your hotel for that kind of evening to integrate. So you can take yourself out for a great dinner if you choose. You can order food in. You can go to bed at

really early. You can stay up really late watching a movie. Whatever is helpful to you to integrate that experience. And then the next day, you will go back to the airport and take your flight back home.

you know, fresh with all of these insights that we have just unpacked. So we will go through the thinking work, the kind of planning work. We’ll build a set of documents together that kind of encapsulate what has happened during the day.

You’re going to integrate. We’re going to send you back. And then two to four weeks later, it kind of depends on what you’re particular about. um day was about. But two to four weeks later, we’ll get back on Zoom for a follow-up conversation. um And that is an important step to just check in on what’s happened. Has anything kind of…

you know, shaken loose that we need to tie back down? Is there any new question that surfaced? And there could be, right? be totally normal So we put that in as like you know you have that two to four weeks later We’ll get back on Zoom to do like a follow-up session.

And just make sure that you have a chance to ask questions, okay? Um, The investment for this is $6 ,000. um I’m going to give you a place below this to hold a spot. Again, once it’s just you’re going to put a deposit down. Once you put that deposit down, my team is going to reach out personally. to lock in a date.

um We have to pick a date between now and the end of the year. I’m going to cut these off like mid-December. because we’ll both be in holiday mode. um So at some point between now and mid-December, it will be scheduled. We’ll sort out all the travel logistics with you. I told my team, like, I need them to have a concierge for this. This needs to be a very white glove so that when you book this.

We’re going to handle booking your hotel. We’re going to handle telling you how to get everywhere. The only thing you’re going to need to do is get yourself to Cincinnati. And I’ll even tell you about an app you can use that’ll do that in about two and a half seconds, literally. If you want to book your flight in two and a half seconds, I found a new app that I just love for this. So you can there’s anything that you need, my team will be able to help you in terms of

logistics. And I think that.

That is also the final check step for us to learn a little bit. We’re going to send you a backgrounder to give us some information about your situation, your life, your organization. And if there’s anything in there that makes me feel like I am not going to be equipped to help you, I will tell you before you go any further, right? And we’ll either talk about it and kind of confirm and make sure that there’s a place here where I can add value or we will be very clear like I think what you need is beyond the scope of what I can offer and I will make sure that no one is wasting their investment.

Okay. I want to deliver for you 10x whatever you’re investing in this day. So because what happens is there is some kind of significant return.

on that investment, right? You make the investment in yourself. You bet on yourself. You say, this is what I think I can do if I can just get thinking time and thought partnership.

And then the execution of that plan and what it delivers is what delivers the return. Sometimes that’s a financial return. Often that is a financial return, right? We will cook up some ideas that will be worth 10x what you are investing in the day. That happens all the time. Sometimes it will be a lifestyle return. Where you will be like,

I mean, if you spent $6 ,000 to go on a few-day vacation. What is the return on that?

It’s not financial, but there’s a lifestyle return, right? I got rejuvenated. I have memories from it. So in some cases, what you’re going to build, like when I was describing the family vision, that person is having a lifestyle return on that investment, not a financial return necessarily. Okay. So both of those count. It is very important that we remember we make investments all the time to get a lifestyle ROI. And in many cases, again, particularly for the entrepreneurs in the house or people who are going to use this thinking to make some kind of a career pivot.

there is often a financial return. So I’m going to open a limited number of spots right now. My head is saying four, that as I looked at my calendar, I can do this up to four times between now and mid-December. They are first come, first served. So if you make your deposit,

That’s going to hold your spot. We’re going to sort out again what exactly it is that you need to cover. And I will just tell you this. I know this audience pretty well. And some of you will get in your own head about…

My issue isn’t crisply defined enough. And therefore, I cannot do this because I’ll be embarrassed. Okay, I get that. I understand that. I don’t want to waste my time either, okay? But I will tell you that half the benefit is… further refining the issue. So you have to get me in the pocket. You have to be able to say things like, I want to do time on my personal brand or I have a business already and I’m looking at how to take it to the next level or whatever. You have to be able to say that. But

you don’t have to have it fully sorted out. Right. I really. Um, pretty good at helping you reach that clarity. leading up to the session. So we are very crisp on what it is we’re trying to do together.

So again, I’m thinking of four spots. We’ll see how it goes as these fill up. First come, first serve. And the link to hold a space and make a deposit is in the show notes for this.

We just need to make sure that not only do we have it reserved like a deposit made, we also need to get it scheduled between now and the end of the year. Okay. I think a lot about that first strategy day that I did with a client back in 2016, sitting in that.

borrowed co-working space. helping her be brave enough to say the real thing that she was stuck on out loud and to sit with that for a whole day and then like. watching the momentum build. I’ve watched people leave those days over the years with a business that they didn’t even have language for that morning. Like I just watched it take shape.

in the course of a day. leave with a financial plan, that they felt like they knew what they needed to do. Right? Leave with a brand identity that they didn’t have, that now they’re like, I’m so clear on the positioning. You know, leave knowing the team that they needed to build. Who did they have to hire to get their thing to the next level? So I don’t know what’s sitting on your list right now. The thing that you’ve been kind of circling for months without really

giving it the attention it’s due, but I know what a day like this can do. So if this is speaking to you today, the details again on how to reserve a spot are in the show notes and I would love to spend a day thinking with you. before this year is out. That’s all for today, my friends. Until next time.

Let’s be brilliant.
