Stop Feeling So Tired All The Time: 8 hacks for working women that really work!

In what universe would I be interviewed with Reese Witherspoon, Sara Blakely and Molly Sims? It makes no sense at all, but contrary to all logic, it did, in fact, just happen.

The Balance Project Novel

Author Susie Schnall recently interviewed me for her series titled “The Balance Project: Interviews with Inspiring Women Talking Work/Life Balance.” (You may have seen the series featured in Working Mother magazine.)

She published my interview this week, so I’m including the link to it below as well as the links to those given by some other more, ahem, famous women whom you will likely recognize. Susie has interviewed 130 women to date and there is so much wisdom to be gleaned from each and every one of them.

That’s the whole idea behind the project, really. Susie knows we can learn so much from other women as we try to navigate our personal and professional pursuits with grace.

The Balance Project is a fabulous reminder that we are all students and we are all teachers. Twitter_logo_blue

As you read these interviews I’d ask you to do two things:

  1. Please keep looking for women you can build into who are learning lessons you’ve already learned.
  2. Please keep looking for women from whom you can learn…those walking the same path who are just a bit ahead of you.

This kind of community is exactly what I’m so excited about building in my new project launching early next year. I’m calling it The Shine Movement because when you’re living a life you’ve designed that feels like it’s truly your own, you SHINE.

We’re going to help each other build and sustain lives that SHINE. I can’t wait! Twitter_logo_blue

So without further ado, here’s the link to my interview and to several others you might enjoy. I especially love that she asked for the best advice I ever got from my mom and from my husband!

Susie’s Book :

I would love for you to check out Susie’s novel, The Balance Project. That’s right, it’s a NOVEL, not a nonfiction how-to book. This review sums it up perfectly:

“A fast-paced tale of a twentysomething desperately trying to balance her own life while, ironically, working for a woman known as America’s Darling of Balance. If you liked The Devil Wears Prada, you’ll enjoy this charming romp, which delivers with heart, depth, and a perfectly satisfying conclusion.”

 – Kristin Harmel, bestselling author of The Sweetness of Forgetting and The Life Intended

It would make a great Christmas gift…to yourself! Just click the image below to find it on Amazon.
