Hi Cherylanne, I love the idea of short meditation breaks to reset. Would love your suggestions on how to start…I am not a “meditater” So need some guidance .
    Thanks

This is definitely my FAVORITE way to meditate! I’m no expert, but I’d start by “catching” yourself in a thought pattern that doesn’t work. Ask yourself what thought would better serve you. Take a few deep breaths and slowly repeat that NEW thought to yourself in your head as you continue to breathe. I like to do this with my eyes closed, sitting in a chair, both feet on the floor, hands in my lap. It only takes a few minutes to shut out the rest of the world and get re-centered! And you literally can’t do it wrong! Oh, and listen to Podcast episode 88 – Raising your vibe with Brenda Villa for more great ideas!

    Hi Cherylanne!

I am so excited that I cheated and listened to this podcast at this moment in my day! I normally look forward to listening every Tuesday on my 50+ mile commute home on Tuesdays. But I was having a really low day at work and turned this on in my office during my lunch break. This was a great way to re-shift my thought pattern and re-set for the rest of the day. Thank you for bringing this blessing to my day and offering these extra tips for daily self-care. ♥

  3. Shelli Liston says:

Powerful Stuff! Love the reminder of time alone…Before COVID 19, I worked that in due to my job’s travel requirements. I am having to get creative with this now because this space is crucial to my success. The “wind down routine” is something I need to implement. I was LOL when you perfectly described the nightly CRASH. Thank You for sharing your brilliant wisdom. #B2
