Every morning when my iPhone alarm goes off, I’m confronted with a simple question.
“How do you want to feel today?”
It’s a little note I wrote to myself that I set as the memo on that alarm, and it’s my daily reminder that I get to choose.
So do you.
How do you want to feel today?
Your circumstances don’t get to dictate this.
Neither does your spouse.
Or the kids.
Or your boss.
Or the scale.
Neither the length of your to do list, nor the condition of your house, nor the intolerable humidity is the boss of you.
Not one of these is making you feel anything.
You are.
So, how do you want to feel today?
It’s always your choice.
