This is episode 400 of the Brilliant Balance podcast. What’s next for you, for me, and for Brilliant Balance? My friends, if you can believe it, we are at episode number 400. I just want to take a moment today to celebrate that milestone with you and share my thoughts—especially on what I see coming next for us.

I’ll talk about some of the shifts I see in the marketplace and the cultural zeitgeist, and how my team and I are evolving—hopefully to meet you right where you are in this next season.

This episode is designed to be a bit of a trip down memory lane and a peek into the future—which, as always, starts right now. But before I say another word, let me thank you for helping me reach this 400-episode milestone.

I’m so grateful you found your way here and that you’ve tuned in today. Whether this is your first or your 400th episode, welcome to this space.

Honestly, I never imagined how far this would go. I think sometimes when someone starts a project or initiative, we assume they must have a big, grand vision for where it’s headed. But I’ve said this before: I really just wanted to get the first 12 episodes out the door, to see if I could create a small, cohesive body of work—some thoughts and ideas around work-life balance, back in the day.

That was over seven years ago. Since then, so much has changed—in my life, in the world, in the professional environment where I find myself, and in the messaging I want to share. If you’ve been here a while, you’ve probably been part of that evolution.

Some things haven’t changed. I’ve recorded almost every one of those 400 episodes from the same seat. A precious few were recorded elsewhere, but that might shift in the future. For now, though, I can honestly say the vast majority were recorded right here.

Somewhere along the way, I realized that the greatest gift I could give to you—the listener—and to myself was the freedom to be flexible and to let the show evolve.

At first, I shared practical tips on work-life balance. But over time, that evolved into broader topics that matter to the same audience—professional women with one foot in their careers and one foot in the rest of their lives.

They’re trying to hold it all together and find space for themselves in the middle. That was true when we began, and I believe it’s still true today.

What you care about has evolved—and so has what I bring to the table. With age, parenting experience, business experience, and years of coaching women from the front lines, my insights have deepened. The mission has matured from “balance for balance’s sake” to balance as a gateway to freedom, purpose, and legacy.

And you’ve grown right alongside me. You’ve pushed me to offer deeper insights, explore new angles, and deliver fresh perspectives. Your questions have sharpened, your needs have evolved, and together we’ve discovered what actually moves the needle—from burnout and overwhelm to feeling centered.

We’re striving for equanimity—a solid inner core that lets us move through life while keeping all its parts in rhythm.

Over the past seven years, I’ve had a front-row seat to what’s changing for smart, capable women who are already doing so much right, yet still asking, what’s next?

This future-focused mindset has led to some powerful emerging themes—ones that will shape the next era of our work and our lives.

Let me share a few of those themes.

1. Letting Go of Overwhelm as a Badge of Honor

Back when I started, being busy was a badge of honor. We glorified burnout. But now I see a shift toward choosing alignment over chaos.

We’re getting better at seeking clarity and freedom. Busyness and burnout are no longer seen as proof of doing enough. We want to find ourselves in the middle of our own lives.

2. Craving Real Connection

In the age of AI, human-to-human connection is becoming even more vital. When I started the company, blogging was the thing. Today, there’s a move from written word to audio, to video, and now to in-person experiences.

We’re tired of low-engagement Facebook groups and performative spaces. We want depth. We want to be seen—not just for what we do, but for who we are. That desire is guiding what we build next.

3. Feminine Energy as a Leadership Superpower

I initially resisted the idea of “feminine energy,” maybe because I naturally lean into structure, control, and hustle—traits often labeled masculine. But what’s coming next is integration.

It’s not about replacing one with the other. It’s about balancing structure with intuition, presence, and creativity. That’s where our true magnetism and power lie.

4. Embracing Ease

Not easy, but ease—as in flow. Ease as a strategy, not a luxury.

You’ve already proven you can handle hard things. That’s not the question anymore. Now, the power move is to allow space, to say no with confidence, to delegate without guilt, and to accept that “good enough” is sometimes good enough.

We don’t need to do everything to be extraordinary. We need to do the right things, at the right time, with the right support.

What’s Next for Brilliant Balance?

This chapter has me energized. We’re exploring new ideas, running experiments, and diving deeper into themes like personal power and presence.

We’ve always had content—this podcast, courses, free and paid materials. But now we’re evolving into community and experience.

We’re reimagining our membership model. It’s not just about access to content anymore. It’s about meaningful, intimate, intentional connections—circles of incredible women, and a team that knows you by name.

We’re also bringing my hospitality background into the fold. Our retreats—like the spring one at Canyon Ranch or the upcoming fall gathering at Grove Park Inn in Asheville—are curated experiences designed to help women step out of daily life and reconnect deeply with themselves.

We’ve seen these retreats spark transformation. That’s why we now include quarterly retreats as part of the BOLD experience—and we’re only getting started.

Why All of This?

Because I believe you deserve a big, full life—and the freedom to enjoy it.

That doesn’t happen by chance. It takes intention. It takes practice. It takes support. And we’re here to bring you all three.

If the first 400 episodes laid the foundation, then the next 100 are about building momentum—in leadership, relationships, and your inner life.

But more importantly, what’s next for you?

Which parts of this resonated? Where do you see yourself in these themes? What are you being called toward? What are you ready to leave behind?

If something inside you is stirring, stay close. Keep listening. Tune into your own wisdom.

And reach out—DM me on Instagram, reply to any of my emails, or fill out the contact form on the website. Let me know what’s next for you.

I’ll read every message. I’ll respond. Because even after 400 episodes, I believe the best is still ahead—and I want you to be part of it.

Thank you for listening. Whether you’re new or a long-time listener, thank you for being part of this community.

The greatest gift you could give me to celebrate this milestone is to turn this podcast into a two-way conversation. Tell me what’s next for you—so I can keep meeting you right where you are.

That’s all for today. Until next time—let’s be brilliant.
