Growing up, you were probably told you could have it all - you could be anything you wanted to be.
And you were perfectly happy to work for it.
But now, every day starts with the overwhelming feeling that there is just so much to do.
Trying to get it all done is an exercise in frustration, which leaves you berating yourself “why is this so hard?”
People keep telling you to do less. But who else is going to do all of this?
When you imagine NOT doing every last thing on your list, you’re racked with guilt … you’re sure that any boundary you set will disappoint or inconvenience someone.
Or FOMO sets in because you don’t want to miss a single important moment (even when those are starting to directly conflict with one another and you haven’t figured out how to clone yourself yet).
Or fear of judgment creeps in, because what will people think if you allow anyone to help, or heaven forbid, outsource something? “Must be nice” they’ll say. Or worse, “I guess she can’t handle it.”
And even if you were to push past all of those feelings, you’d still have to grapple with giving up the control you like so much. I mean really, could they ever do it as well as you?
So there you are - overwhelmed, frustrated, and exhausted… asking yourself, is this really the cost of living a big, full life?
Believe me, I get it.
As a classic overachiever, I always had a ridiculous capacity to get things done. My life ran on time, at 110%, without breaks. I said yes to everything and I figured out how to squeeze it all in.
But then my life got bigger. Like, a LOT bigger.
A marriage, three kids, big jobs, a big house, and big responsibilities… it all piled on until the complexity of my life reached a point where my stubborn insistence on doing everything myself was taking me under.
I was so busy being frustrated with myself for not being able to get it all done - that it never occurred to me that my expectations of myself might be wildly unrealistic. (Spoiler alert: they were.)
I didn’t want to give up one single piece of the life I’d built - but I knew something had to give.
And then it hit me.
I did need to make sure everything got done, but it didn’t have to all be done by me.
I had to remind myself that “leaders lead” and I had to start thinking and acting like a leader in every aspect of my life.
So while it didn’t happen overnight - in fact, it required a series of fits and starts - when I look back now I can see that I ultimately shifted my identity from DOER to LEADER.
And with this shift, everything fell into place.
Today I run a membership for women who need to make this same shift.
The framework we follow goes like this:
Embrace courageous thinking and a growth mindset, enabling you to take bigger swings and operate with confidence.
4. Shift Your Perspective and Mindset
Uncover the beliefs and blocks driving your tendency to do it all, and understand the hidden costs of constant busyness—so you can reclaim your time and energy.
Gain clarity on what you truly want long-term, and create a clear vision to guide your decisions, helping you prioritize what really matters.
2. Clarify Your Vision
Develop a strategic plan, using the SOS framework, that moves you forward with intention, while balancing productivity with personal practices.
3. Create a Bold Action Plan
Surround yourself with a tight network of advisors, mentors, and peers who truly get you, and regularly take time away from your regular routine to recharge and realign with your vision.

Intentional Action
"I love being a pilot but it is definitely a male-dominated field. I’d dreamed of connecting female pilots across airlines and supporting young girls who aspired to careers in aviation. I joined Brilliant Balance to find community, accountability, and guidance in pursuing my dream of starting my nonprofit. What I found led me to dream bigger than I thought possible; beyond starting that nonprofit (called F.A.S.T.), I also wrote a book, stepped into public speaking, and became a coach myself. It’s true that doing work you find purpose in multiplies your time and energy!"
"When I found Brilliant Balance, I was a new business owner and expecting my third child, so I wasn't sure it was a great time to start coaching! But since starting the program, my business has literally tripled and I've been able to develop systems at home and work to be more present for my growing family alongside growing my business."
"Through the BOLD membership, I've completely transformed my business—quadrupling revenue, doubling my team, and streamlining all our processes. It's truly the best investment I've ever made. Additionally, Cherylanne and the Brilliant Balance team have fostered an inspirational community of women. The connections I've made are lifelong, and I feel blessed to walk this journey with them."
So now it’s your turn. If you’re feeling deep resonance with what you see here, I want you to apply to BOLD.
Today.
Be decisive.
Take this one small action to create some momentum toward the life you deserve and let’s see where it leads.
Or at the very least, commit to learning more about how it works.
I don’t want you to have to spend your life being so busy that you miss the moments that matter.
I want you to have a big full life AND the freedom to enjoy it.
And now that you know it’s possible, promise me you won’t settle for anything less.
Our team will happily answer any questions you have via email as quickly as possible.
